Deborah Brenneman Obituary

Deborah D. Brenneman, 81, of Marion, formerly of Lone Tree, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at HallMar Village in Marion. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Deborah Darlene Musser was born on July 4, 1944, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Dana Woodrow and Roberta Evelyn (Forbes) Musser. On April 16, 1994, Deb was united in marriage to Vernon Brenneman in Lone Tree. She worked as a beautician in her early years and then worked for the University of Iowa as a surgical clerk for 13 years. She enjoyed camping and the beach, but most of all, Deb loved to spend time with family and friends.

Deb will be deeply missed by her husband, Vernon, of Marion, son Matt Tomas of What Cheer, son-in-law Joel (Nancy) Kasparek of Cedar Rapids, brother Al (Diane) Musser of Wisconsin, nieces Stacha (Steve) Reed and Kara (Jesse) Miller; step-daughters Christine (Gary) Voss of North Liberty, Cathy Fell of Iowa City, Colene (Gary) Feldman of Lone Tree and Carmen (Joe) Donovan of Lone Tree; grandchildren Macy (Bodie) HarrisonKasparek, Madison Kasparek; step-grandchildren Gracie Kasparek, Brendan Blumer, Abby (Kurt) Kuhanez, Brynne (Sam) Smith, Zachary (Missy) Zeman, Lucas Zeman, Ella (Philip) Trumm, Emily Feldman, Bailey Donovan, Brady Donovan, Riley Donovan and Owen Donovan, Alyssa Tomas; step great-grandchildren Jack Kuhanez, Cooper Zeman, Rylan Zeman, Ben Trumm and Michael Trumm.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, beginning at 4:00 pm at the Feldman residence 410 Yakish Court in Lone Tree. All family and friends are invited to come and share in this celebration.

Deb was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Michele Kasparek and sister, Judy Campbell.
