Deborah “Deb” Ball, 59, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Muscatine Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established for the family in Deb’s name. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservices.com. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello is caring for Deb’s family and arrangements.
Deborah Lynn Ashby was born on November 4, 1965, the daughter of Darrell Eldon and Shirley Ann (Ripperton) Ashby. On May 28, 1994, Deb was united in marriage to Glen Ball in Morning Sun and later divorced. She was a homemaker. Deb enjoyed bingo, playing cards, traveling, her dogs, Leo and Dozer and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Kansas City Chiefs fan, but most of all, she dearly loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Deb will be deeply missed by her children, Brandy (Marzell) Qualls of Wapello and Kyle (Eden) Carpenter of Morning Sun; six grandchildren, Josie Haynes, Keyan Qualls, Ella Haynes, Kendrix Qualls, Samuel Carpenter and Tessa Carpenter and siblings, Denise (Tom) Pforts of Wapello and Jeff (Alfredo Rodriguez) Ashby of Chicago.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents.
