David Peavey Obituary

David Peavey, 78, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at his home. Private family burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

David Lloyd Peavey was born on June 18, 1945 the son of Howard and Pauline (Jarvis) Peavey. David was a graduate of Davenport High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On October 10, 1967, David was united in marriage to Connie Cochran in Muscatine. David worked many years for Oxy Chemical in Davenport. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding and his beloved Scottish Terriers.

David will be deeply missed by his wife, Connie Peavey; son Brian (Sandra) Peavey and grandchildren, Dallas and Sierra Peavey and Samantha Hooker and Michael Welker and sister, Barb Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Wendy Welker and sister, Chris Ramirez.
