Obituary

David Foster, 66, of Wapello passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at his home. Graveside services for David will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Wapello Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow until 4:30 p.m. at the Briggs Center in Wapello. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello are assisting with arrangements.

David Ray Foster was born on August 23, 1956 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Dan Jr. and Stella (Beeding) Foster. David attended Wapello High School. He worked in construction and had also worked at H.G. Lensgraft Plastics Company. He enjoyed fishing and arrowheads.

David will be deeply missed by his son, Damion (Amy) Sadd of Davenport, Iowa; siblings, Frances Davis of Wapello, Dennis (Georgia) Foster of Wapello and Roberta (Jerry) Wiley of Burlington and several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
