David Anderson, 64, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.  A Celebration of Life will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Roomy’s Grill and Chill in Fruitland, Iowa. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Service of Muscatine is caring for the family.  Online condolences may be left at (  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the family in memory of David.

David H Anderson was born October 7, 1959 in Muscatine, the son of Don and Patricia (Mairet) Anderson.  On October 7, 1996 he was united in marriage to Rebekah Brooks in Muscatine.  He was a Master Plumber.  David enjoyed bowling, golfing and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and St. Louis Cardinals fan.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

David will be deeply missed by his wife, Rebekah of Muscatine; children, Trevor H (Sarah Duncan) Anderson of New Orleans, LA, Alicia (James Koehler) Schneckloth of Muscatine, Zack Anderson of Muscatine, Tammi (Lani) Anderson of Oskaloosa; four grandchildren; siblings, Teri (Jim) Needham of Muscatine, Tony (Sherry) Anderson of Davenport, Amy Padget of San Antonio, TX, and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.  The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude to David’s best friend, Jeff Bright for all that he did for David and the family.

David is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Anderson
