Darlene (Schultz) Wood

Darlene Wood, 59, of Muscatine, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine. Interment will immediately follow the visitation at Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine. Memorials may be directed to her family for later donations. Darlene was born August 10, 1962 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Darlene (Forbis) Schultz. She attended school in Muscatine. Darlene worked for McDonalds in Muscatine and enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia and gambling.

She will be deeply missed by her daughters: Tonya Brokaw (Matt Thurston) of Muscatine, Iowa and Contessa (Ben) Eversmeyer of Muscatine, Iowa; grandchildren: Haley Brokaw, Hannah Thurston and Harper Thurston; and siblings: Carl Schultz, Tim (Nancy) Schultz, Harry (Rose) Schultz, Rose Buller, Gary Steahr and Brad Steahr.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents.
