Darla Kay (Montgomery) Radke

Darla Radke of Muscatine, Iowa passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 2, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 9th, 2025 from 1:00p.m.-3:00p.m. at the American Legion in Muscatine.  Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Darla.   Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservices.com.   Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Darla’s family and arrangements.

Darla was born on January 22, 1950 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Howard Montgomery Sr. and Pearl (Wren) Montgomery. She married Richard Seitz, later divorced and married Herman Radke on May 24th, 1975.  Darla retired from Walmart in 2015 after working there for 17 years. 

Darla loved spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, and her weekly Wal-Mart trips to visit her friends.

Darla will be missed by her husband, Herman; children, Corie Cottrell, Deanna (Lester) Taylor; sister, Martha Bender; 6 grandchildren, Cassie (Sam) Cottrell, Garrett (Riley) Cottrell, Ashton (Olivia) Cottrell, Sean (Kali) Bean, Christina Bean, Abby Parkes and 9 great grandchildren with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers.
