Danny John Krogstad

Danny J. Krogstad, 60, of Letts, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services is caring for Danny’s arrangements and the family.

Danny John Krogstad was born on October 16, 1959 in Virginia, Minnesota the son of John and Fay (Larson) Krogstad.  Danny was a 1978 graduate of L-M High School and later went on to graduate from Lincoln Tech in Des Moines.  On August 10, 2001 Danny was united in marriage to Bonnie Berry in Wapello.  Danny had worked as a mechanic/electrician for Mid-American Energy, retiring in 2010.  He was a member of the Local 109, enjoyed working on cars and collecting junk. 

Danny will be deeply missed by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Danielle Krogstad of Letts; son, Matthew Krogstad of Letts; step-sons, David Barquest of Muscatine and Kevin Berry of Omaha; four step-grandchildren and sister, Tammy Wolf of Grandview. 

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Doug Wolf and sister-in-law, Carol Dipple.
