Crystal (Blinder) Garcia

Crystal F. Garcia, 35, of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 1:00 P.M.  at Greenwood Cemetery.   Due to Covid-19 and the most current governor’s proclamation, all attendees are required to wear a face covering.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Crystal Faye Garcia was born on February 20, 1985, in San Marcos, Texas, the daughter of Glenn Murray and Terri E. (McGourty) Blinder.  Crystal was a 2003 graduate of Muscatine High School.  On October 20, 2007, she was united in marriage to Dustin Garcia in Muscatine.    She had worked as a beautician at Smart Style for several years.  Crystal was an artist and enjoyed hairstyling, traveling, making food runs with Beason, playing Dungeons and Dragons and spending time with her children and cats, Loki and Gambit. 

Crystal will be deeply missed by her husband, Dustin of Muscatine; children, Casey and Olivia Garcia; mother, Terri Blinder of Muscatine; siblings, Scott Blinder of Coralville, Emma Blinder of Muscatine, Derrick Simmons of Coralville; sisters-in-law, Jasmine Jara of Muscatine and Julie Garcia of Muscatine; mother-in-law, Dotty Garcia of Muscatine; nieces, Aurora Burwell of Muscatine and Novalee Jara of Muscatine; nephew, Ricky Jara of Muscatine and cousin Brad Reinier of Muscatine.. 

Crystal was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, step-father, Craig Sprague and father-in-law, Jesus Garcia.
