Connie Newcomb

Connie Newcomb, 72, of Muscatine, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 Unity Point Trinity – Rock Island.   Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Service of Muscatine.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.   A memorial has been established in Connie’s name.   Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Connie Sue Welker was born on November 3, 1952 in Muscatine, the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Bryant) Welker.  Connie was a 1970 graduate of Muscatine High School.  On June 7, 1985, Connie was united in marriage to Richard “Rick” Newcomb.  Connie enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, playing cards, Bloody Mary’s and being with friends and family.  

Connie will be deeply missed by her husband, Rick of Muscatine; daughter, Tanya (Dave) Walker of Wilton; step-daughter, Kim (Chad) Ash of Muscatine; grandchildren, Tysin (Zach) Cody (Faith), Keith Jr, Josh and Cooper; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Elanea, Annabella, Victor, Carmelo, Johnathan, Lincon and one on the way and sister, Christine Lynn Newcomb of Muscatine. 

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and sister and brother-in-law, Linda (John Sr.) Young.
