Colene Lin Warnstaff was born on July 11, 1962 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph Marian and LouAnn (Hahn) Warnstaff. Colene graduated from Muscatine High School in the class of 1981. She worked as a self-employed pilot car escort. Colene enjoyed sharing stories, reading and writing poetry-she was even the one to write the lyrics to her Senior class song. She had a wonderful gift of keeping in touch with friends; she traveled to visit many friends that had moved away and maintained many of her grade-school friendships. More than anything, Colene loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Colene will be deeply missed by her father, Joseph Warnstaff of Wilton; sons, Devan (Alyssa) Warnstaff and Christopher Johnson all of Muscatine; grandchildren, Dylan, Winry, Caiden and Mason; siblings, Jody (Rick) Hunt of Muscatine, Darrell (Brenda) Warnstaff of Nichols, Christine Wilkey of Muscatine, Bill (Kelli) Warnstaff of Iowa City and Nadine Call of Muscatine; many nieces and nephews and her lifelong friends, Rosy and Sandy.
Colene was preceded in death by her mother, LouAnn Warnstaff.
