Cassandra "Cassie" (Mills) Allen

Cassandra “Cassie” Allen, 79, of Yarmouth, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Mediapolis.  A private burial will be held in Kossuth Cemetery.  A memorial has been established for the family in Cassie’s memory. Cassie was born July 6, 1944 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Mike and Vivian (Calvert) Mills. She was also raised by her step-father, Lloyd Wonderlick. Cassie was united in marriage to Wendell Allen in 1994 in Yarmouth, Iowa. She will be remembered as a loving person who cared deeply for her family.

Cassie will be missed by her husband, Wendell Allen of Yarmouth; children: Bret (Bobbi) Holloway of McCook, NE; Michael (Mary) Holloway of Mt. Pleasant; Brad Holloway of Yarmouth; and ViviAnn Allen of McCook, NE; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings: Bev Freyermouth of Wilton; Chris (Daune) Schlabaugh of Parnell; Sid (Pam) Mills of North Liberty; and Van (Diane) Mills of Pahrump, NV; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father; son, Calvin C. Holloway, III; and brothers: Gaylord and Darrel.
