Carol A. (Tompkins) Cubbage

Carol A. Cubbage, 75, of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2026, at her home.  A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services, Muscatine.  Private graveside services will be held at Muscatine Memorial Park.    A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorials in Carol’s name may be made to the family.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Carol’s family and arrangements. Carol A. Tompkins was born on November 18, 1950 in Muscatine, Iowa to John and Ella (McKillup) Tompkins.  She graduated from Muscatine High School.  Carol was united in marriage to Martin Cubbage Sr on February 22, 1969 in Muscatine.  She worked at Thatcher’s Plastic for 23 years before she retired.  Carol loved to play Bingo, go to the casino, going camping, and Christmas.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandsons and her two cats Lilly and Ivy.

Those left to honor her memory are her daughter Dana (Daniel) Ahlf; son Martin (Jennifer) Cubbage Jr; grandsons Brenton McClaskey and Martin Cubbage III; her brother John Tompkins; and sister Wilma Walwer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Cubbage Sr; her parents John and Ella; and her siblings Wilbur, Ivan, Bernice, Karen, Mabel, and Betty.
