Carmen Cisneros Obituary

Carmen Cisneros, 91, formerly of Mason City, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at her daughter, Virginia’s home.  Per her wishes there will be no services or visitation.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine, formerly The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, is caring for Carmen’s arrangements and her family. 

Carmen was born on September 18, 1928, the daughter of Michaela Botello.  Carmen was very dedicated to her family and in caring for them beings a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.  She enjoyed singing, dancing and cooking. 

Carmen will be deeply missed by her children, Junior Refujio (Lupe) Cisneros of Texas, Marty Gonzales of Iowa, Delores Cisneros of Iowa, Armando (Angel) Cisneros of Georgia, Irene Cisneros of Iowa, Carlos (Alma) Cisneros of Florida, Sixto (Marilou) Colon, Jr. of California, Virginia Colon of Iowa, Francis (Fernando) Zubia of Iowa, Abraham Colon of Colorado and Robert Colon of Iowa; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. And also sisters, Beatrice Johnson of Iowa and Mary Lou Hoag of Iowa. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rose and siblings, Fritz, Joey, Mary, Bonnie and Rose.
