Carey Dean Sterner

Carey Sterner, 59, of Wilton passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at his home. Carey Dean Sterner was born on June 8, 1965 in Muscatine, the son of Merle Sterner Jr. and Diane (Gobble) Maurer.  He was united in marriage to Jeannie Allison in 1986, the couple later divorced.  Carey was a Master Mechanic.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, fixing cars and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Carey will be deeply missed by his children, Chad Sterner, Shane (Crystal) Sterner, Stephen Sterner, all of Muscatine and Shaylee Sterner of Moline; 12 grandchildren; siblings, Harvey (Priscilla) Sterner, Edith Giles, Shelly Wilken, Tiffany Cox and Keith Glenn; many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
