Brian R. Bell

Brian R. Bell, 53, of Conesville, formerly of Lone Tree, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at his parent’s home in Lone Tree.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Conesville Community Center.  Following the services, a visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the community center.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Brian.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Lone Tree is caring for Brian’s family and arrangements.

Brian Russell Bell was born on September 17, 1972, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Tom and Terri (Johnson) Bell.  He was a graduate of Lone Tree High School.  Brian worked for Jack’s in Iowa City, the food court in the Coralville Mall and ACE Hardware in Iowa City.  He was a member of the Conesville United Church of Christ and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.  Brian enjoyed going to the casino, fishing, vacationing in Mexico, watching old movies, especially the ones with John Wayne, working in the laundry room at T Bell’s detasseling in Conesville, having coffee with the Conesville guys and attending all family events.

Brian will be deeply missed by his parents, Tom and Terri Bell of Lone Tree; brother, Bradley Bell of Lone Tree and sister, Kathryn (Wyatt) Hamilton of Lone Tree; nephews and nieces, Lauren and Taylor Bell and Cash and Nora Hamilton; grandmother, Carolyn Bell of Lone Tree and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brian was preceded in death by his sister, Darla Bell; paternal grandparents, Darrel and Shirley Bell; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Hazel Johnson and Margery Johson.
