Bradley Eugene Griffith

Bradley Eugene Griffith, 78, of Mediapolis, Iowa, passed away on March 27, 2025 at Henry County Health Center surrounded by his wife and kids.  Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Mediapolis.  The family will be present from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the funeral home.  Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the funeral home.  Private family burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Bethel Cemetery upkeep and the Mediapolis Ambulance Service.   Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservices.com. 

Bradley Eugene Griffith was born on March 5, 1947, in Muscatine, the oldest son of Robert Eugene and Barbara Jean (Swafford) Griffith.  Brad attended school in Iowa City and was a 1966 graduate of Morning Sun High School.  On November 7, 1987, he was united in marriage to Laura Thomas in Mediapolis. 

Brad was the manager of Morning Sun Farm Implement until his retirement in 2018.  Brad loved his job and enjoyed selling equipment and visiting with customers.  He also loved raising cattle, horses and spending time at the farm.  In his younger years he enjoyed showing horses and participating in rodeos as well as racing stock cars.  When his son started racing, he was the crew chief and his number one fan.  He loved watching TV, red licorice and the Iowa Hawkeyes.  His greatest joy was attending his children and grandchildren’s many activities and loved when everyone was together as a family. 

Brad is survived by his wife, Laura; children, Nichole (Patrick) Ensminger, Skyler (Sara) Griffith, Brittany (Josh) Schneiderman, and Bailey (Jarrod Schneiderman); grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Caleb Potts) Ensminger, Libby (Jack Martin) Ensminger, Ben Ensminger, Delaney and Ava Griffith, Bryar and Jaxon Schneiderman and Brynn Schneiderman; siblings, Debbie (Bill) Smith, Denise (Mark) McCulley, Eric (Debbie) Griffith, Beverly Ecklund, Amy (Dan) Gabeline; father-in-law, Keith Thomas; sister-in-law, Lisa (Laurie Fryar) Thomas and Amy (Scott) Taeger and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Brad was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; his brother-in-law, Mike Ecklund and his mother-in-law, Judy Thomas.
