Brad Westfall Obituary

Bradley S. Westfall, 56, of Riverside, passed away following a short battle with cancer on Monday, April 24, 2023 at his home.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. at the Copper Creek Ridge Event Venue, 1182 Commercial Drive, Riverside, Iowa.  Interment will follow at the Riverside Public Cemetery.   Following the interment, a Celebration of Life will continue throughout the evening on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Copper Creek Ridge Event Venue.  A memorial has been established for future use within the community in Brad’s memory.   Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Riverside is caring for Brad’s arrangements.

Bradley Scott Westfall was born on April 28, 1966 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Harley and Karen (Banes) Westfall.  Brad was a 1985 graduate of Highland High School.  On October 10, 1987, he was united in marriage to Kris Riggan in Iowa City.  Brad had worked for nearly 37 years as a pressman for Economy Advertising in Iowa City.   Brad was an avid wrestling fan who assisted in coaching the kids club for many years, loved watching his son wrestle during his high school and college wrestling years, and held season tickets to the Iowa Hawkeye wrestling meets.   Brad was known to have the best yard on the street, always greeting the grandkids with a kiss on the cheek and for very rarely missing a day of work.  He loved smoking meat on the grill, ZZ Top and more than anything, spending time with his family and friends. 

Brad will be deeply missed by his wife, Kris of Riverside; children Jordan (Mika) Westfall of Cedar Rapids and Abigail (Dan) LaRoche of Riverside; five grandchildren, Emery, Audra, Reagan, Maryn, Ryker Bradley; his parents, Harley and Karen Westfall of Riverside and siblings, Deb (Eric) Stewart of Riverside and Rodney (Phillis) Westfall of Iowa City. 

Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mae Westfall; maternal grandparents, William and Louise Banes; his in-laws, Earl and Delores Riggan and sister-in-law, Amy Schneider.
