Bonnie (Sissel) Rohde

Bonnie Rohde, 92, of Muscatine passed away at Unity Point Hospital in Bettendorf.  Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026 in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.   A memorial has been established for Spring Valley Bible Camp in Bonnie’s name.   Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Bonnie’s arrangements. 

Bonnadelle Joyce Sissel was born on May 28, 1934 on the farm in Nichols, the daughter of Arthur L. and Sarah E. (Emlet) Sissel.  Bonnie graduated from Muscatine High School in 1952.  On March 28, 1958, she was united in marriage to Earl Rohde at Calvary Church in Muscatine.  Bonnie worked for Muscatine Tax in bookkeeping and doing tax work for 45 years.  Bonnie was a charter member of Calvary Church; she enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with her husband, reading, her family and her grandchildren.    

Bonnie is survived by her son, Mark and daughter-in-law, Lisa of Nevada, Iowa; daughter, Susan Graber of Atalissa, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Virginia Sissel. 

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Lucy Martin, Vernon Sissel, Arthur Sissel and Richard Sissel; great-grandson, Matthew Rohde and son-in-law, Tom Graber.
