Billy Dan Bowdre

Billy Dan Bowdre Sr., 77, of Morning Sun passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at his home in Morning Sun.  Services will be held at a later date in Washington State.  Burial will be in the Tahoma National Cemetery.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Morning Sun is caring for Billy’s family and arrangements.

Billy Dan Bowdre was born on July 19, 1945, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Donald P. and Eloise M. (Foster) Bowdre.  Billy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was united in marriage to Patricia Rawnsley.  Billy worked in maintenance in Fairbanks, Alaska.  He attended the Little Nazarene  Church in Wapello.  Billy enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially in Alaska.

Billy will be deeply missed by his children, Ginger S. Dickey of Billings, Montana, Billy Dan (Johna) Bowdre Jr. of Enumclaw, Washington, David (Jennifer) Bowdre of Cle Elum, Washington and Tommy Bowdre of Lakewood, Washington; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one brother, Tommy Bowdre of Morning Sun.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; four brothers, Earl Bowdre, Joe Bowdre, Roy Bowdre and Russ Bowdre and one sister in infancy, Betty Bowdre.
