Beverly Jean (Garr) Wymer

Beverly Wymer, 80, of Wilton, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from Noon – 3:00 p.m. at the City Hall in Wilton, 104 East 4th Street.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Center of Muscatine is caring for Beverly’s arrangements and her family.   Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Beverly Jean Garr was born on December 29, 1944, in Moulton, Iowa the daughter of Cloydie and Grace (Hartley) Garr. On April 17, 1976, Beverly was united in marriage to Jerry Wymer in Kahoka, Missouri.  Beverly worked at Oscar Meyer and later Dairy Queen.  She was a member of Calvary Church in Muscatine and the VFW in Bettendorf.  She enjoyed cross stitch, crochet, gardening and adult coloring books.  She was fond of her walks and had recently traveled to visit friends and family.  Beverly always made a point to visit her sister in Wichita. Most of all; she loved to spend time with her family, especially the grandchildren. 

Beverly will be deeply missed by her children, Brian (Lisa) Wymer of Grandview, Don (Louise) McDonough of Muscatine, Debbie (Mark) Stigers of Letts, Mike McDonough of Rock Island, Marla (Pete) Ramirez of Wilton and Rhonda (Scott) Meyers of Dewitt; 14 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Shelia Grim of Wichita, KS; several nieces and nephews and her dog, Parker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Trenton, David, Charles, Everett and John; sisters, Edna Hurt, Nita Raker, Betty Berry and Mary Hurt and son-in-law, Pat Meyers.
