Beverly Kay Todd, 86, of Morning Sun, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Centenary Morning Sun United Methodist Church. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be left to the Centenary Morning Sun United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Beverly was born October 29, 1938 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Orville and Wilma (Baird) Bryant. She graduated from Morning Sun High School in 1956. Beverly was united in marriage to Harold Todd on March 2, 1957 in Morning Sun.
Beverly worked as a teachers aid for the Morning Sun Community School District for 31 years. After retirement, she worked at the alternative school in Morning Sun for 7 years. She was a member of the Centenary Morning Sun United Methodist Church. Beverly enjoyed antiques, trips to the casino, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Harold Todd of Morning Sun; daughter, Holly (Robert) Fletcher of Morning Sun; daughter-in-law, Sue Todd of Kewanee, Wisconsin; grandchildren: Charlie (Mike) Muller of Naperville, Illinois; Robbie Fletcher (Morgan) of Wapello; and Kaylee Todd (Dave) of Mosinee, Wisconsin; great-grandchildren: Trace, Calvin, Kaisen, Everett, Cora and Kyan; and special friend, Troy Bonar of Morning Sun.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Mike and Shane Todd; and granddaughter, Tia Smith.
