Betty McKillip

Betty McKillip, 88, of Muscatine passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Addington Place.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023 at New Hope United Methodist Church.  Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the church.  Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Betty’s arrangements and her family. 

Betty Corder was born on June 11, 1935 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Logan and Bessie (Browning) Corder.  Betty was a 1953 graduate of Muscatine High School.  On October 23, 1954, Betty was united in marriage to Clifford John McKillip in Muscatine.  Betty was a homemaker, caring dearly for her family and others.  She enjoyed cooking, canning and sewing.   She was a member of New Hope Methodist Church, where she was very involved with the women’s groups and served on various committees. 

Betty will be deeply missed her children, Steven (Barbara) McKillip of Muscatine and Linda Adams of Muscatine; grandchildren, Timothy (Nichole) McKillip and Sarah (Miguel Sandoval) McKillip; step-grandchildren, Corey (Annie) Adams and Aaron Adams and great-grandchildren, Parker, LeAnn, Mateo and Emiliano.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford on January 25, 2009 and son-in-law, Dan Adams.
