Barbara Ann (Land) Allison

Barbara A. Allison, 85, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Davenport, Iowa.  Per her wishes, no visitation or services are planned for this time.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Barbara’s arrangements and family.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Barbara Ann Land was born on July 5, 1936 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Richard J. and Ethel M. (Hobson) Land.  On June 26, 1959, Barbara was united in marriage to David Saul Allison.  She held several different jobs over the years at many Muscatine restaurants, Sun-Mart and as a caretaker at Lutheran Homes.  She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Barbara will be missed by her children, Theresa Schafer of Muscatine; Crystle Allison of Davenport, David (Tam) Clay Allison of Stockton and Sean (Lisa) Allison of Muscatine; siblings, Raymond (Carolyn) Land of Muscatine, Carol Stingley of Rockford, Illinois, Thelma Curry of Fruitland and Velma Ferns of Muscatine; and several grandchildren. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Jenny Smith and Phyllis Skidmore and two brothers, Richard and Walter Land.
