Alejandro Ledezma, 54, of Columbus Junction, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Washington County Hospital. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025 at the Victory Christian Center in Columbus Junction. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025 at the church. Burial will be at the Columbus City Cemetery. Following the services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the church. Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Alejandro. Alejandro Rocha Ledezma was born on October 9, 1970 in Mexico, the son of Jose Reyes Mena and Francisca Ledezma. He was united in marriage to Patty Villanueva on February 22, 2025. Alejandro picked oranges and tomatoes in Florida and worked at Tyson and Rambles. Most recently he was employed as a mechanic and did landscaping. He enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, and loved cake and ice cream. Alejandro was a joyful person and was always available to lend a helping hand. He was very proud of becoming an American Citizen on September 20, 2024. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Alejandro will be deeply missed by his wife, Patricia; son, Alejandro Jesus Ledezma; brothers, Ramon Mena, Lucio Mena, Norberta Mena and Raul Mena; sisters, Roselba Mena, Leonor Mena, Merisol Mena, Juanita Mena and Patricia Mena; sister-in-law, Leticia Villanueva; niece, Ana (Ivan); her children; Savannah, Saydi, Luka, Naviana and Amado; nephew, Jose, nieces, Patty and Omega; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Armando) Ayala; niece, Vanessa; nephew, Armando Jr. mother-in-law, Omega Villanueva and his beloved dog, Luna.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two stillborn daughters; and father-in-law, Jose Villanueva.
