Albert C. McCullough

Albert C. McCullough, 88, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at his home.  Private family services will be held at a later date with burial in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  A memorial has been established for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in Al’s memory. Al was born in Muscatine on April 25, 1937 to George and Edna (Dollman) McCullough.  He married B. Diann Anson on December 23, 1955.  Their enduring marriage of 70 years blessed them with four children, Terri Watson (deceased), Traci Ojile of Iowa City, Kyle McCullough of Muscatine, Kevin McCullough (wife, Tonia) also of Muscatine.

Al was a loving, supportive husband and fun father and then grandfather to his grandchildren, Allison Watson of Vermont, Atticus Ojile of Iowa City, Owen Ojile of Iowa City and Brittany Edwards of Winfield, Iowa.  There are no words to express the love, appreciation, respect and memories Al’s life has brought to his wife, children and grandchildren. 

Al ‘s family also includes his siblings: brother, Wayne McCullough (deceased) and his wife, Wanda McCullough of Muscatine and sister, Kay Moeller and her husband, Gary Moeller of Wilton. Al will be dearly remembered by many extended family members and friends.  Special note of his mother-in-law Annie’s second favorite son-in-law Melvin Moore.
