Albert W Love

Albert W. Love, 89, of Muscatine, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Sunnybrook Assisted Living of Muscatine.  Private family graveside services will be held in Muscatine Memorial Park Community Garden Mausoleum.  A memorial has been established for the Muscatine Humane Society in Albert’s name.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Albert’s arrangements and his family. 

Albert Warren Love was born on February 10, 1931 in LaCrosse, WI, the son of Albert William and Delores (White) Love.  Albert proudly served his country during the Korean War in The United States Air Force.  On November 14, 1953, he was united in marriage to Evelyn Woodruff in Warner Robins, GA.  Albert owned and operated ServiceMaster by Love for 34 years.  He was very proud and appreciative of all his employees and customers that made his business a success.  He attended Calvary Church. He enjoyed fishing and especially several trips to Canada, watching his kids and grandkids sporting events, and was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes.  He was a master handy-man which served him well building their home in Muscatine as well as building and piloting a light sport airplane. 

Albert will be deeply missed by his children, Steve (Sharon) Love of Rochester, MN and Penny (Gary) Fuhlman of Muscatine; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ben) Schafer, Matthew Love, Nathan (Jennifer) Fuhlman, Allie (Dan) Meineke and Jenna Fuhlman; great-grandchildren, Taylor Raymond, Haylie Raymond, Giana Schafer, Bella Schafer, Wyatt Schafer, Michael Love, Zoey Fuhlman, Kamdyn Fuhlman and Kaden Meineke; sisters, Marilyn Murphy of Middleton, WI and Karen Erickson of Elko, MN and several nieces and nephews. 

Albert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn; his step-mother, Evelyn Love and brother, Ronald Love.
