Kitty (Woodruff) Jarvis

Kitty Woodruff Jarvis, 71, of Wapello, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Wapello Specialty Care.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019, at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral Home, formerly Dudgeon-McCulley funeral home in Wapello with Pastor Kendall Hughes, officiating. Burial will be at Mallory Cemetery.  Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Solid Rock Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Everystep Hospice of Mount Pleasant.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral Home of Wapello is caring for Kitty’s family and arrangements.

Kitty Woodruff was born on May 26, 1948, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Harold and Peachie Woodruff.  She was a 1966 graduate of Wapello High School.

Kitty will be deeply missed by her parents, Peachie and Marvin Buffington of Wapello; children, Tracy Johnson and Joshua Aumiller of Houston, TX; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mick Woodruff of Oakville, Steve Paris of Wapello, Mark Woodruff of Packwood, Tim Woodruff of Iowa City; sisters, Teresa Simkins of Normal, IL. Rebecca Woodruff Baird of West Des Moines, Ronda Redd of Burlington and step-mother, Marilyn Woodruff of Burlington.

Kitty was preceded in death by her grandparents and father, Harold Woodruff.
