Jack "Buck" D. Strause

Jack “Buck” D. Strause Jr., 55 of Wapello, IA passed away on November 11th, 2019 doing what he loved.

Buck Was born on July 13, 1964 to Jack and Annette Strause of Urbana, Ohio. Buck was the owner and operator of J&D Contracting.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to swamp music, running bank poles, and drinking coffee an avid Ohio State fan.

 He loved spending time with his family which includes; “wife” Brandy, children Billy Jack (Melissa) and Jacob Lee (Bethany), Grand kids: Xavier, Taylor Jack, Grace, Emma, Stevana, Seth, and Lily. He loved his animals Ivie, Sunny, Ellie mae, Milo and Puss Puss.  As well as every member of the Graham family.

Survivors also include siblings:  Todd (Helen Buckroyd) Strause, Shelly (Tom) Marshman, Shane Strause and family, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by his parents and sister Annette.

Memorial donations are being accepted please make payable to Brandy Stidham to help with expenses.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services, formerly the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home is caring for the family and Buck’s arrangements.
