Gabriel Edward Wheeler

Gabriel “Junior” Edward Wheeler, two month old son of Tim Griffith and Wendy Wheeler, passed away on December 7, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a courageous fight with heterotaxy syndrome.  A private family service will be held with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in Junior’s name.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Junior was born on October 7, 2019 in Iowa City, Iowa.  He loved to watch the Jellyfish on his screen and shaking his little butt.

Junior will be deeply missed by his parents; sister, Jizelle Wheeler of Muscatine; maternal grandparents, Willie and Marlene Wheeler of Muscatine; paternal grandmother, Julie Buckley of Jefferson City, Missouri; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Junior was preceded in death by his uncle, Willie Wheeler, Jr., paternal grandfather, Gary Griffith;  maternal great grandparents, Colleen and John LaRue and Chester and Marie Wheeler; and paternal great grandparents Elmer and Diane Griffith and Judy and Stan Buckley.
