Travis Spitznogle Obituary

Travis Spitznogle, 50, of Morning Sun, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Burlington. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Wapello Cemetery.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello is caring for the family. Travis Lee Spitznogle was born January 10, 1972 in Muscatine, the son of Ivan and Beverley (Beeding) Spitznogle Sr.  Travis worked as a welder and in the maintenance departments at various companies over the years   He enjoyed working on cars and taking care of his yard.  He loved all animals, especially dogs, cats and birds.

Travis will be missed by his daughters, Zoe (Morgan) Poole of Wapello, JoAnna Hawk of Muscatine; grandchildren, Danny, Yaeger and Teddy; mother, Beverley of Wapello; siblings, Raymond Scarlett of Tennessee, Kathy (Dave) Brair of Indiana, Daryl Scarlett of Morning Sun, Randy Scarlett of Oregon, Billie Scarlett of Wapello, Faye (Bill) Osler of Minnesota, Tammy Hawk of Morning Sun, Ivan (Kim) Spitznogle Jr. of Wapello; step-sister, Joanne Wetzel of Muscatine, step-brother, Randy Spitznogle of Illinois; half-brother, Marty Hipshier of Fruitland and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father, sister-in-law, Dorma Scarlett and brother-in-law, Steven Hawk.
