Russell K. Hogan, 60, of North Liberty, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, at his home in North Liberty. A Send Off Party will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Riverside V.F.W. Post 6414. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Russell. Russell Hogan was born on January 11, 1961, in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Robert and Marilyn (Kintz) Hogan. On June 21, 1981, Russell was united in marriage to Lisa Hawkins at Kent Park in Tiffin. He worked at Pheasant Ridge Apartments and the University of Iowa. Russell was a member of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Club and was previously on bowling, horseshoe and softball leagues. He enjoyed tinkering, building things, singing and whistling, but most of all, Russell dearly loved to spend time with all his family and friends, including his dog, Dudley.
Russell will be deeply missed by his wife, Lisa of North Liberty; his children, Tanya (Michael) Price of Cedar Rapids, Tylor (Tiffany) Hogan of North Liberty and Samuel Hogan and his companion, Emily Knovenock of Prior Lake, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Kaylie, Kaycee and Charlie and sister-in-law, Bonnie Hogan of Hesston, Kansas.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert “Joe” and Steve.
