Martin "Marty" Edward Beeks

Marty Beeks, age 65, of Muscatine, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Wooden Nickel, 2042 W. 3rd Street, Davenport, IA 52802.  Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Marty.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. 

Martin Edward Beeks was born February 16, 1957 in Rapid City, SD, the son of Clinton and Joan (Stinger) Beeks.  He graduated from Bettendorf High School.  He was employed at Oscar Mayer for over 20 years.  Marty was a hard worker.  In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

He will be missed by his wife, Sally Hillman Beeks of Muscatine; children, Clayton (Kayla) Thompson of Camanche, Becky Beeks of Silvis, IL and Jason Beeks of Davenport; nine grandchildren and sister, Lisa (Daniel) Niemi of Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
