Brian James “Sned” Schnedler was born into this world October 2, 1981 to Tammy Schnedler Holderness. A lifetime of love and support was provided by Gary and Kathy Schnedler.
Brian would spend years running at the speed of light until June 26, 2004, when he met Lisa (Posten) Schnedler at “ a show”; they would later join forces (legally) August 23, 2008. Brain and Lisa would share their lives with Gonzo (a shelter Puggle), Cooner (a farm cat), Brasky (a shelter cat), Squeaks (a shelter cat), Bhad Bhabie (a foster failure), and Biscuit (a rescue/ pandemic puppy).
Like many of us, Brian had to work for a living but in his free time he was a renaissance man. Brian blazed trails through Wildcat Den and beyond (all around Iowa, Illinois, & Wisconsin, Colorado, Hawaii, Indiana, Minnesota, South Dakota, & other “parts unknown”). He was the lead singer and musician for some brutal bands, Trendy Bastard, Upon the Death Horse, and Waxmoth. He had an eye for photography, nature being his favorite subject matter. He studied the art of Jiu Jitsu at Breaking Point in Davenport, IA. Brian also loved stupid/funny action movies, 80’s & 90’s wrestling, and collecting pieces of nostalgia from his childhood.
Brian will be greatly missed by his tag team partner, Lisa Schnedler of Muscatine, his furry friends (especially Gonzo), his mother Kathy Schnedler of Letts, biological mother Tammy (Dean) Holderness of Iowa City, brothers Jeff (Sharon) Schnedler of Muscatine, Tom Schnedler of Fruitland, Joe (Susan) Schnedler of Letts, and Tyler (Callie) Carson of Central City and many nieces, nephews, extended family, & friends from all over.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Schnedler, Cooner Cat, and Squeaky.
