Betty Knight Obituary

Betty Knight, 78, of Morning Sun, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her home. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family in Betty’s memory. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Morning Sun is assisting with arrangements. Betty was born April 11, 1944 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of James and Florence (Court) Dilts. She worked for Exide in Burlington and at the Morning Sun Care Center. Betty loved Elvis, Garfield and spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Tonya Pendall of Morning Sun; grandchildren: Krystal Crill of Morning Sun; Dallas Crill of Morning Sun; and Roland Hayes of Wapello; sisters: Elsie Walker of Wapello and Shirley Cupps of Columbus City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
