Andrew "Andy" Carl Hafner

Andrew “Andy” C. Hafner, 63, of Letts, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Halifax Health Hospice House in Orange City, Florida.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services, Muscatine.  Interment will be held in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Community Room.  Visitation for Andy will be held on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.  Sympathy notes may be left online at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Andrew Carl Hafner was born on June 12, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Robert Dale and Beverly M. (Johnson) Hafner.  Andy was a lifelong farmer in the Letts area and also ran his own sandblasting and painting service for 20-years.  In his younger days he was involved with 4-H and the Boy Scouts.  He enjoyed boating, water and snow skiing, and riding motorcycles.  Up until the last few years his favorite time was spent traveling and he was often known to spontaneously announce he was headed on a trip. 

Andy will be deeply missed by his significant other, Rosa Kruse of Letts and numerous friends. 

Andy was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lisa Hafner.
