Alan Lee Orr

Alan L. Orr, 62, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at his home in Muscatine.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Burial will be in the Indian Creek Cemetery in rural Columbus Junction with military rite provided by the Muscatine County Honor Guard, Inc.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Alan.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Alan Lee Orr was born on February 20, 1960, in Aledo, Illinois the son of John William and Dorothy Marie (Yedik) Orr.  Alan served in the United States Army and was in Germany during Desert Storm.  He was united in marriage to Rosalee Height in Muscatine and was later divorced.  Alan held many jobs in the Muscatine area and most recently Gerdau Ameristeel in Wilton.  Alan enjoyed visiting with his friends.

Alan will be missed by his siblings, David (Gail) Orr of Pella, Lois (Davis) Foor of Muscatine and Patricia Orr of Muscatine. 

Alan was preceded in death by his parents.
